BEFORE YOU TURN THE KEY, fasten your
seat belts! This young lady has!. She
doesn't intend to get her face scarred up
by hitting the dashboard or windshield in
a . collision or an emergency stop. And her
seatbelts obviously do not interfere with
her comfort or her driving, . because they
are properly worn . . . the shoulder belt
with enough slack to allow free .move-
ment at the wheel and the lap belt .snug
across her. hips. The Ontario Department
of Transport urges everybody ... passen-
gers as Well as drivers ... to fasten their
seat belts every time they get in a car.
Seat belts give you a far better chance of
escaping death or serious injury.
