Whitechurch Personal Notes
Mrs. Russel Chapman return-
ed home on Friday after a
week's visit in Toronto. She
was accompanied by her son,
Gary Chapman.
Mrs. Wallace Conn spent
Wednesday to Friday with Mr.
and Mrs. Herb Hunter of Lon-
don and accompanied them
here, where they spent the
week -end.
Mr. and Mrs. John McInnes
of Kinloss were Friday visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Orville Tif-
fin.
Sunday visitors with Mr. and
Mrs, Wallace Conn were Mr.
and Mrs. Johnston Conn and Mr.
and Mrs. Douglas Conley, all
of Wingham.
Mrs. Harm Bosma and her
daughter, Miss Martze Bosma,
who have been visiting for the
past two weeks with the form-
er's sister, Mrs. Koopmans of
Auburi!, visited on Friday with
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Bee-
croft, Miss Martzi Koopmans
accompanied them. Mrs.' Bos -
ma and her daughter and Mrs.
Koopmans' brother, Mr. Jan
de Wilde who has also been vis-
iting in Ontario, returned home
on Sunday from Malton Airport
to Heerenveen, Netherlands.
Miss Mary Purdon of Water-
loo spent the week -end with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.
R. Purdon.
Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Farrier
attended the graduation of
their son, Wayne Farrier, on
Tuesday last at Western Uni-
versity, London. The commun-
ity extends congratulations to
Wayne.
Mt. and Mrs. Victor Case -
more of Brantford were visitors
on the week -end with Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Morrison and M r .
and Mrs. Ed Marsh of Wingham,
and o ther relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClen'
aghan visited on Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs. Mack Stewart of
Waterloo and in the evening
Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Howe and
family of Teeswater visited
with thin.
Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor
of Churchill and Mrs. Jim Moss
and baby were week -end visi-
tors with Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Pattison, Mr. and Mrs. '°Law-
rence Taylor and Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Showers.
Sunday School and Church
anniversary service was held
on Sunday at . Calvin - Brick
Church. There was a large
crowd in attendance. Their
own pastor, Rev. J. G. Roberts,
was the speaker.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Coulter
on Saturday completed moving
to their new home at Goderich.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben McClena-
ghan are spending a few weeks
with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moss
of Plattsville.

Harold Casemore had a very
successful sale of farm stock
and implements last Tuesday
when good prices were realized.

Harry Percy of Nigeria will be
guest speaker at Chalmers Pres-
byterian Church for the morn-
ing service and at 9 p. m. will
show pictures and give a com-
