Miss Joanne Laidlaw recent- ly received word that her appli- cation for nurse's training had beer accepted at Victoria Hos- pital, London. Mrs; Lowry was re- leased recently from Victoria Hospital but on Monday of last week was admitted to Wingham and -District Hospital with pneu- monia. She is wished a speedy recovery by her many friends. Miss Anne Walker of Toron- to was a holiday visitor with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Jamieson and family.
