Mrs. Holmes Is the former Phyllis Barbour of St. Helens and at present her father, Elwood Barbour, is still a patient in Victoria Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Geiger and little daughter Kimberley Ann, and friends, Corrine Blatchford and Bob Bannon, all of Kitchener, were Saturday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClenaghan. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Walker spent the week -end with their son, George and Mrs. Walker • and family of Ottawa. We are sorry to report that Jack Purdon of L uc'kno w, a former resident of this commufl-. ity, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, London, last Wednes- day. He is on second floor. His many. friends here wish him a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Zinn were Sunday visitors with his parents, Mr. and Mrs, Irvin Zinn of Bright. Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Howe and family of Teeswater called Sun- day on Mr; and Mrs. Carl Mc- Clenaghan. Mr. and Mrs,. Ronald Jamie- son, Lori Ann, Go r d o n and Marilyn of East Wawanosh were Sunday visitors with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jamieson., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Tierney and Karen of Clinton were week- end visitors with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Magoffin. Donald Gaunt of Toronto spent the week -end with his par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Russel ham was also a recent visitor at the same home. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Johnston were in London on Friday and Miss Janette Johnston returned home with them. On Saturday all visited with Mr. and Mrs. George Young. and family of Langside. Jim Robertson of London spent the week -end with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Robertson. Mr., and Mrs. Ron Russel of Schomberg spent the week -end with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Smyth.
