FOUR AREA GIRLS were recipients of
Provincial Honour certificates at the 4-H
Club Achievement Day held Saturday at
the Lucknow Public School. The award is
presented to girlswho have successfully
completed twelve 4-H clubs in recent years.

WHITECHURCH--The April
meeting of Calvin -Brick U.C.W.
was held last Wednesday at the
home of Mrs. Gilbert' Beecroft.
Thirteen members were present.
Mrs. Ken Mason gave the
call toworship and presided for
the business. The minutes
were read by the secretary, Mrs.
Roy Dawson. Mrs. Mason read
a letter from Mrs. Graff request-
ing a donation to a summer °
camp at 'Stratford. It . was
agreed to make a donation.
Thehighlights of work done
by U.C. W. groups of Huron for
J968, as written by Mrs. Saw-
yer, were read. Mrs. Gilbert
Beecroft reported' on a workshop
she attended recently at God-
erich.

ed their "Meat in the Menu",
by attending Achievement Day
which was held April 26 in
Lucknow.
Eleven clubs were present.
Individual exhibits were recipe
files and record books. Club
contributions consisted of ex-
hibits, demonstrations and skits.
All participants found the
cotuse very rewarding.
