Mrs. Clarence Hanna after
school on March 3. 'Pork and. ,
pork'cookery were discussed and
the pork chart in the Members
pamphlet was examined.. Mrs.
Hanna passed out booklets on
"Beef and Beef Dishes”. The -
group was to. cook pork hocks
and cabbage, following,,
recipe in the pamphlet. " fte

the beef stew. The next meet-
ing will be March 17, -in the
church basement.

LAKELET--Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Horton were honored Saturday
on the occasion of their 45th
wedding anniversary, Their
sons, daughters and families.
,37 in all, held a dinner for them
at the Hartley House at Walker -
ion. Following this everyone
returned to the home of their
son-in-law and daughter; Mr.
and Mrs. Ron Douglas. The
evening was spent playing cards.
Mr. and Mrs. Horton were
the recipients of a sum of mon-
ey and some lovely gifts. Guests
were present from .Stratford ,
London, Ridgetown, Toronto,
Atwood, Hanover, Wingham
and this community.
--Miss Jennie Murray of Vic-
toria Street had the misfortune
to fall and break her leg recent-
ly and is a patient in hospital
here.
-Mrs. Walter Henry of Shal-
low Lake visited with 'Mrs. ' Vera
'Armstrong last week. -

noon at 2. Rev, Louis Viggi-
ano, M. S.C. , a member of the
Sacred Heart Missionaries, will
preach at these Services..
Born in the Bronx, F a the r
Viggiano received his early ed-
ucation in New York City. , For
two years he studied at the
Gregorian University in -Rome,
Italy. He was ordained a priest
in 1955.
For three years he taught in
the seminary and then was dir-
ector of a Retreat House in
Youngstown, Ohio. Since 1964
he has been the director of a
Renewal Preaching Team.
Post -graduate studies were
undertaken by Father Viggiano
at the Catholic University of
America, Washington, D. C -,
and currently, he is undertaking
a study in counselling at the
University of Detroit.
"I am looking forward with
great anticipation to .meet the
peoiile of this area,'" Father. A
Viggiano said.

law.
