At 3.47 Listowel's goalie Mc-

each received two minutes for

the local fans sure got to the
Listowel goalie. You guessed
it, at 8.08 Forster skated in
alone and having missed break-

quick shift to deke and flip the
puck into the net behind a per-

SHORT SHOTS.,, For about
the fourth game in a row the
Sports have come on strong in
the third period, outscoring the
opposition, .. Nice to see Forster
score on that breakaway. Was
beginning to think Ross was get-
ting that Paul liendersen jinx
on breakaways... This was per-
haps a costly win for the Liston
wel team as they, lost the serv-
ice of one of their defencemen
who went into the end boards,
breaking hiLankle, He was
able to return to Listowel with
the team on crutches and with
a cast on one -leg... Listowel's
Humphries with 2 goals and 2
assists was the star of thegame
Bill Kerr played a bang-up
game and looked real good "
while poor brother George could
do nothing but hit goal posts...
Elwood Irwin seemed tobe hav-
ing problems, around the net. ,
Could it be that Elwood was
a little over anxious with his
while family out to cheer him.
or was he still not over the ex-
citement of his PeeWees vic-
tory in the afternoon.?. , .Coach
Gerson switched Ken Houston
back on defence and John Mc-
Tavish on forward line. - The
players didn't look out ofplace
in their new position... K e n •
Henry came through with anoth
" .er solid check but the two best.
checks of the game were dished
out by Jim English in a matter -
of sends... Jim B a in got
through this game without a
penalty, giving him a clean
sheet for the year. Not too of-
