Ernest Churchill of MOSSley itt
Victoria Hospital, LondOni, fol-
lowing a stroke. She was form-
erly Mary Margaret Golley,
daughter of the late James and
Martha Golley �f MOITi$ Town-
ship. She was in her 76th year.
Mrs. Churchill had been
married three times, first to
John Rintoul of Seaforth and to
them were born three SOUS, Mac
and Cameron,both deceased
and one son, Reginald Rintoul
of Kitchener survives. Mr. ,
Rintoul passed away suddenly
following a farm accident. She
married Mr. McElroy of Blyth
who also predeceased her and
then married Ernest Churchill
of Mossley who survives.
She is also survived by one
brother, Robert Golley of Mor-
ris Township and eight grand-
children.
The funeral was held from
the Tasker funeral home in
Blyth on Wednesday afternoon
with interment in Wingham
Cemetery. •

Mr. Hopper, 08, was the fa-

and Kenneth 7, all at home.
Born in Wingham, he was the
the son of Mr, and Mrs. Charles
11. Hopper who reside on pat -
rick Street. He attended public
and secondary school here and
was a member of W in gh ern
United Church. At the time of
his death he was enrolled at the
• Canada Manpower Training
• Centre at Waterloo.
Mr. Hopper married Juanita
Irwin in 1954.
Surviving besides his wife,
children and parents are a sis-
ter, Mrs. William (Marie) Hel-
mka of Listowel and a brother,
John M. Hopper of Port Credit,
• The funeral was Friday af-
ternoon. Rev. K. Barry Pass-
more conducted service at the
S. J. Walker funeral home and
at Wingham Cemetery. The
pallbearers were Orland Irwin,
Wilbert Hodgkinson, Gordon
Welwood, Alex Stark, Charles
• Procter and Neil Flopper. Floral
tributes were carried by James
Hopper and Durl Hopper.
Mrs. Lyle Hopper
dies in hospital
Mrs. Lyle Hopper ofBelgrave,
73, died in Wingham and Dis-
trict Hospital on January 20.
She was the former Mary
Emma Lake, daughter of the
• late John Lake and Laura Bos-
man. She was born in Grey
Township on October 2'7, 1895
and married Mr. Hopp& in
Grey Township in 1918. -
Surviving are her husband;
two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd
(Laura) Alcock of Walkerton
and Mrs. Thomas (Muriel) Gam -
Brussels; a son, Stanley
Hopper of Morris Township;
eleven grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren; and a
brother, Bert Lake of Atwood.

funeral home in Brussels was
