R. 5, Lucknow, has been en- rolled`in the Canadfan Armed forces (Regular). Arte was born in Holland February 6, 1949 and came to this country with his parents as baby. He received his high School education at the F. E. Madill Secondary School where heobtained his Secondary School Honor Graduation Di- ploma.. He was very active on the school wrestlijig team and the track team. , Young Arie was a Very ' ac- tive and, lOyal member of the 09th Field Battery. He was a qualified Junior NCO and had a great working knowledge of Artillery and Supply trades. Ade was an extremely hard working chap,.. alwairs ready to fiend a hand. He spent many pours driving or assisting in the operation of the unit. The regular staff could always count on him. ,o He has enrolled in the Air Element of the Cdn. Armed Forces and has been selected to train in Basic Electronics. This will include the maintenance of aircraft, radios, radar and the hundreds of other electrical oapparatus. in the forces. The possibility exists that he will eventually be selected for a commission in the forces. Arie's first posting is to CFB Cornwallis in Nova Scotia. DeBruyn departs from London at 6:30 a. m. on Febru- ary 7th and will arrive in CFB Cornwallis late in the afternoon of the 9th.
