In an unsolicited letter to , the March of Dimes campaign chairman for her area; Mrs. Kuiper said her husband was struck by multiple sclerosis y.. about six years ago, -"only two years after we were married. " First he needed something to help him walk, then a wheel- chair, finally last January he died of pneumonia. "You will understand', " wrote Mrs$. Kuiper, "that we needed a great amount of equipment in our home to keep my hus- band from going to the hospital permanently. And the March of Dimes did everything they could. I know Mrs. Margaret Elliott from London, and Mrs, „ Constance Cruickshank from Kitchener well. They would come to the house periodically to see if there was some way they could help. And help they did! "Let's give the March of Dimes credit, because through this organization they so much lessened our burdens. l will look forward to seeing a .March- ing Mother on Monday evening, January 27. Truly the money collected is spent in a very worthy way. "May yourcampaign be a great success, ' to help others as we were helped.
