Last weejes "Show of the
Week", Comedy 2001, was
meant to have a few serious
moments and one of them fell
flat on its face and was the
biggest laugh of the show --
Julie Harris' attempt at sing -
sing! That gal couldn't carry a
tune if you gave her a trough.
I think her speaking voice is
bad, but never again will I
complain about it if she just
knocks off the music! She suc-
ceeded in murdering a beauti-
ful song, too. so I hope she's
hippy. Steve Allan, Shelley
Berman and Bill Dana were in
their usual fine comic form,
and Lynn Kellogg should have
been allowed the musical spot-
light by herself.

to Korea .° After service in '-
Korea the unit returned" to Ca-

There only a short time, the
unit was posted for duty In
Europe for two years. So Bill
, is going back again to familar
ground. Since returning from
Europe in 1958, Bill has had
many postings, courses and
types of duty to perform. Many
gunners in the Regular Force
will recall Bill's 'booming voice
during gun drill periods at the
Shilo Gun Park. He has served
•on rnost gunner stations across
Canada.
• W. O. Perry's actual trade

Wondetful, isn't it! But don't
forget that lithe drive belt
breaks, or the engine stalls,
the car suddenly steers like a,
truck with flat tires; or so it
seems. -
The Ontario Safety League
suggests you learn what to ex-

speed in a deserted parking lot.
YOu can handle the cat safely
