Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Sim- , ,mons of London brought Mrs. Ezra Scholtz and Miss Joanne Laidlaw to their home on Sat- urday. Mrs. Scholtz and Miss Laidlaw spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Simmons. Mrs. Robert Ross, who spent Christmas with the Misses Campbell of London, returned home on Saturday. Joe and John Mirehouse left on Monday to return to their home at Beggar, Sask.. after a month's visit with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin. Miss Dilys Irving of Hamil- ton was a holiday visitor with Mi. and Mrs. ,.Russel Chapman and Gary. Mrs. Russel Gaunt went to Ajax on Sunday to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs Don Dirstein and their baby son. Mr. and Mrs. George Young and Heather of Langside and Russell Ritchie were Sunday visitors with Mrs. Charles Tiffin and Mrs. Brown. They also vis- ited with Bill Brown, a patient in Wingham and District Hos- pital. Bill Evans was in Walkerton on Friday toattend a commit- tee meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Emerson, Darlene and Sharon of St. Cath- arines visited on the week -end, with Miss Lila Emerson . and Mr. and Mrs. Victor. Emerson. George Conn' of Medicine Hat arrived home on Thursday night. He left on Saturday to accompany Bill Jeffray to To- ronto where he will take the place Sunday morning to return to his teaching position in Med- icine Hat. Miss Alma Conn accompanied them to Guelph to resume her studies on Mon- day.
