(b) -Any bumper, fender, molding or any other sheet metal has broken, bent or sharp edge that still out in such a way as to be a hazard to other road users or pedestrians. (f) -The hood latch does` not hold the hood securely, or the safety catch (in the case of a- front opening hood) is •missing or 'inoperative (g) -Any lens is missing in ' whole or in part, or is incorrectly installed. - (h) -Any lamp is not securely mounted. (i) -Any headlamp is coated with a coloured lacquer. (f) -A right outside mirror is not fitted -on a vehicle having no rear window or rear window that may be obstructed by body or load. (a) -Any opaque material (wood, cardboard, etc.) is fitted in place of glazing in the windshield or in either front side window at the driver's left and right. (b) -Any glazing material (including rear window) is crazed or discoloured, or has any exposed sharp edge, or has part missing. (c) -The windshield has any star, or crack running from edge to edge, in the area swept by the driver's wiper blade. b • (a) -The windshield wiper has been removed. 1b) -All wiper arms do not move over the fullrange of travel. (c) -The wiper arms stall when the engine is accelerated. (d) -Any wiper blade is missing, badly worn or deteriorated 'so as to impair its effectiveness. (e) -The° defroster system if fitted does not deliver air to the windshield. (al -Any filament in any _ bulb or unit does not produce normal light output when switched to the appropriate "ON" position. (b) -The turn -signal lamp flasher unit if fitted does not operate properly; or the turn -signal indicator lamp does not flash. (c) -The beam of any dipping headlamp does not switch correctly. (d) -The upper beam indicator lamp if fitted does not Tight or does not indicate properly. (e) -Any headlamp shutter or retracting headlamp fails tdoperate over the full range of movement. (a) -The steering column shows any looseness in its mounting to the body. (b) -Any bolt or nut is missing from the mounting. (c) -The steering column energy absorbing section if fitted is - damaged. (b) -The front wheels fail to turn from full right to full left and back» again without ; artiming, fouling or roughness of the mechanism. (a) -The pedal pad has been removed, or • is badly worn or insecure. (b) -Any pedal or an Cher component is binding or has high friction. " (c) -Any pedal lever es1isaligned or improperly positioned. (d) -Hard pedal° condition is present, or the pedal free travel is les than 1 inch. (c) -Any component is causing charring or other heat damage to any wiring, fuel line or combustible material of the vehicle. (al -Any mounting or attachment of tank or file) line is insecure. (b) -Any leakage is present at ally point in the system. (c) -The drive shaft or any U -joint is,darpaged or has any loose; missing, or damaged bolt.
