CHURCH MODEL—George Allen of Wing.
hath has put his artistic talents to use
Once "again to brighten his home for the
Christmas season. The church interior in
the top picture is a replica he built" in •a
kitchen cabinet. The bOttorn picture was
taken frorn a postcard he used as a ref -
Mary's Anglican Church in Wingham, Kent,
England. The reason for the unusual
wooden beam structure instead of marble
pillars, according to Mr. Allen, is due to a
lack of funds. Apparently when the money
was ratted for the construction of the
church it was entrusted to the .local ,butch-
erence. The church interior is that of St.
er, who absconded with the funds.
