Winghani took the lead when
floss Peacock, a real work -horse

Herb Litt. It looked as though
the period was going t end
with the Weals ahead but time-

of play in the period and Keith
Davidson potted the puck to
tie up the game three all.
SECOND PERIOD
Wingham jumped into the
lead at 1.44 as Herb Litt tipped
in. a pass from Ken Hduston.
From this point on the local
forwards neglected to back
check; the defence, with the
extra load, made moves which
left,them otit of position and
tittle and time again.the locals
were kept in the game only by
some outstanding goal tending -
by Wayne Riehl. Kincardine
evened the count at 8.21 as

last minute of play been an-

two periods, Kincardine 5,

the locals to tie the'score as
Ken Houston fired a blistering
shot from just inside the blue
line, which caught the lower

I suppose the writers think that
everyone knows that much -

bringing guests to the show for
awhile to fill the void left by
Bea's passing. Like I said be-

The Mayor of Vancouver
succeeded in getting Pierre
Berton a bit upset on last week's
"Front Page Challenge". It has
been a long time since we have
seen the unexcitable, sedate
Mr. Berton quite so hot under
the collar—but who's to siy he
wasn't right? One thing you
have to say for Pierre, he can
argue for the few minutes 4e 's
granted, and then shut up about
It, Sinclair can devour the
entirethirty minutes in argu-
ment, and usually when he
knows nothing about his sub-
ject. Of course, Pierre was
near the head of the line when
the brains were passed around.

Were you aware that an odd
coincidence exists on the local
Channel 8 this season? Each
Wednesday at 7, James Arness
charges into your livingroom as
Marshall Matt Dillon on "Gun -
smoke". On its heels comes
"MLsion: Impossible" at 8,
one Of its stars being Peter
Graves. In real life, the two
men are brothers and this is
probably the first time such a
thing has happened --one show
following another where fam-
ily members share starring roles.
As in all families where this
happens, there is a bit of pro-
fessional jealousy between the
two. Thete really shouldn't be,
both are doing extremely well
in their series.
