Naveruber 18,, in her th year. She was a. daughter of the. late John Donaldson and Hester Watson, Born on Concession 11,, Cul- roas Township, she lived on the family faum until moving to Teeswater in 19.58 where she re- sided since, On June 23, 1926 she married Lewis MacDonald who predeceased her in 1946. A life-long member of Knox Presbyterian Church, she was also a former president of the Fellowship Circle, a life mem- ber of the W. M. S. a member of the Ladies' Aid and a former member of the church choir. For the past number. of years she was on the staff of the Wingham and District Hospital. The many floral tributes, the donations to ithe Cancer Society, and the Gideons show the high esteem in which the deceased was held. The remains rested at the MacPherson funeral chapel until Wednesday, November 20 when ,the funeral was held at 2.30 m. from Knox Church with in-, terment in Teeswater Cemetery,; Rev:. T. J. McKinney officiated. ; Left to mourn her passing are three daughters, Mts. William (Marjory) Humphries, Walton, Mrs. George (Shirley) Carter, Wingham, and Mrs. Maurice (Donna) Hetherington, Alliston, and two sons,, John and Hugh of Teeswater. One son prede- ceased her in infancy. Thirty- one grandchildren and one great- grandchild also survive, Pallbearers were Alex .Don- aldson, John Moffat, Iden Grant, George Marshall, R. Stewart MacDonald and Glen McCon- nell. Flower bearers were six` grandsons, Terry and •Murray Carter, Steven ,MacDonald, Roger Humphries, David. Mac- Donald and Michael Hethering- ton.' For the past number of years the Lodge' members have pre- pared the supper and entertain- ed their wives .and families as an annual event. 0 Rev. John Roberts, Mrs. Rob- erts and family there also guests of the evening. Following the supper Ernest Snowden, the Worshipful Master acted as chairman for a short program. Roberts spoke briefly on the responsibility to any organ- ization to which one belongs, not only in the community, but on a world wide level as well. Henry Pattison spoke of the Many encouraging meetings he has attended as County Master during the past year.
