During the business session
the members decided that cards

birthday of their 'adopted' boy,
Graham Sternack, at Orillia.
Members also agreed to hold
their December meeting one
week earlier, on December 4th.
At the close of the meegng

honor of the approaching mar-
riage of Miss Connie Cameron,
a .former resident of Belmore,
now residing in Waterloo.

Mrs. Harvey Ballagh and Lavon-
ne Ballagh, following which
Miss Mae Johann read an add-
ress and Connie was presented
with her gifts. She gave a fit-
ting reply and lunch was served
to bring the evening to a close.

iary of St. Andrew's met in the
fellowship hall for the Novem=:
ber meeting. The program con-
vener was Mrs. G. Sutcliffe.
assisted by Mrs. X. McKague;
Mrs. R. Nixon, Mrs. J. Alex-
ander and Mrs. D. Ritchie.
Mrs. Ritchie opened the
meeting with the call to wor-
ship. A duet, "Since Jesus
Came into My Heart", wassung
by Joan Currie and Esther Fish,
accompanied by Mrs, D. Rob-
ertson.
Mrs. K. McKague based her
meditation on the conversion of
Saul, illustrated by the use of
a flannelgraph , and the text
"God gave him a new heart. "
Prayer was offered by Mrs, Al-
exander.
The theme for discussion was
"To the Iast heartbeat" taken
from the book •by'Dr. Philip
Blaiberg in which he describes
his long struggle back to health
after his heart transplant. An
imaginary interview was con-
ducted by a reporter, played by
MIS. Sutcliffe, with Dr. Blai-
berg
lai-berg taken by Mrs. Nixon. A
lively question and answer
period was conducted by Mrs.
McKague.
Mrs. E. Beard conducted the
business and Mrs. Ritchie dedi-
cated the offering. A tocial
hour was enjoyed.
