Coaches' clinic
here on Sunday
Minor hockey coaches will
be gathering from throughout
the W. O. A. A. area for a minor
hockey coaches clinic on Sun-
day at the Wingham arena. All
who are interested are asked to
attend. •
The topics covered will in-
clude equipment, shooting, de-
' fence, checking, practises, re-
sponsibilities. There will, be 2
hours ice time during the clinic.
This clinic is set up by the
W. 0. A. A. and it is expected
that top-notch coaching will be
available to instruct our minor
hockey coaches.

Two new leaders
for Wingham Cubs
On Thursday night the Wing -
ham Cub Pack was pleased to
welcome twlpp new leaders who
volunteered itheir services, Ken
Post and Terry Nethery. '
The Cubs -enjoyed games led
by Akela and Ken Post. Each
leader took some of the boys
for their work on the different
stars. Bernie Wehmeyer was
presented with the Interpreter's
Badge for speaking German.
Other boys .receiving badges
were Ricky Jacklin, Kevin Turd-
bitt and David Bennett. r
The boys were told to be at
the Armouries on Monday morn-
ing to march to the cenotaph to
take part in the Remembrance ,
Day service.
