Separate .Schools of the Town of Wingham
TAKE NOTICE that The Board of the Combined Ro-
man Catholic Separate Schools of the Town of Wingham
. on the llth day of November, 1968, passed By-law Num-
ber' 11 to authorize the borrowing of money by the issue
and sale of: a Debenture of the said `Board in the prin-
cipal amount of $104,000.00.
1. The pur. - for which the motley is to be bor-
rowed is the construction• of separate i schodl aecommo-
datidn and the supply of equipment therefor.
2. The amount to be borrowed is $104,000.00 on the
security of the said Debenture, which shall be a charge
upon the schoolhouse property and . premises and any
other' real or personal property vestedin the said Board
and upon the separat, school rates collectible by the said
Board.
3. The Debenture is to be dated November 1, 1968,
is to beat interest at therate of 6% % per annum payable
semi-annually on May 1 and November 1 in each year of.
the currency of the Debenture and is to be repayable in
instalments of principal on November 1 in the years 1969
to 1988, as follows:

home of Mrs.. William Coultes
on Thursday. Fifteen were

the worship service with the

White read the meditation fol-
lowed by prayer.Offering was
received and dedicated follow-

Mrs. William Coultes con-

and four hospital visits were re-
corded. Mrs. Coultes announc-
ed the bake sale :on November
23 and the Crop Improvelment -

ship; program, Miss Annie Cook

ing of the afternoon unit of the
United Church Women. The .
worship service opened with a
hymn. Scripture was read by
Mrs. Carl Procter and medita-
tion . on the Bible verse was giv-
en by Mrs. Willard Armstrong.
Roll call and 16 hospital and
19 home visits to the sick and
shut-in were recorded. The
offering was received and ded-
icated followed by prayer by
Mrs. Campbell. Mrs. Stanley
Cook gave a reading, "The
Lord Is My Shepherd".
Mrs. Herson Irwin gave a re-
port on the sectional .meeting
held recentlyat Whitechurch.
"0 Master of the Waking World'
was sung.
Mrs. Armstrong had charge
of the study book and told the
story, "The Wheelchair Evan-
gelist"., Bible study was con-
ducted by Mrs. Earl Anderson.
A bake sale was announced
for the second lasrSaturday in
the month. It will be held in
the church basement.
A hymn and the Lord's Pray-
er in unison brought the meet-
ing to a close.

TEACHERS VISIT PLANT • A group of
visiting high school •teachers were inter-
ested in the manufacture of garage doors
when they visited, the Stanley -Berry plant
last Thursday morning. They were in town
for a district teachers' convention. At left

The clerk was asked to pre-
pare a by-law in regard to poll-
ing places, polling clerks 'and
deputy returning officers.
Ruston Brothers were granted
permission to establish a wreck-
ing yard on Lot 4, Con. 2 un-
der by-law 11.
The tender of Jack Inglis
was accepted for snow ploring
the Howick-Carrick Boundry at

meeting of Fordwich U. C. W.
was held in the Sunday School
rooms on Thursday afternoon.
The worship service was taken
by Mrs. Clarence Carswell and
Mrs. Robert Connell. Mrs .
Carswell gave an invocation for
Remembrance Day and read
Psalm 46.
The meditation. "Building
for Peace", was given by Mrs. •
Robert Connell, who also offer-
ed prayer.
The program was convened
by Mrs. Ben Gibson and Mrs.
Morley Johnston. Their theme,
"What Is Peace?" was based on
The Brotherhood of Man and
What Went Wrong in Paradise.
Mrs. Warren Zurbrigg, presi-
dent of the U. Cy W. presided
for the meeting and business
period. Roll call was answered
with a Remembrance verse.
Mrs. Bruce Agla reported on
supply. It was decided to pack
a bale of good clothing before
Christmas and to send a dona-
tion of $25.00 to purch ase
blankets; A donation of $10. 00
was voted to the newly organize
ed Brownies. Mrs. William
Wilson and Mrs. Wray Cooper
will be a purchasing committee
to see about a new refrigerator.
