While Canadians enjoy one of the highest standards of living in the world, there are many millions o f people
who subsist on a daily food ration that doctors say is not enough to keep them healthy. -

paign to help feed the world's hungry, to show them
how to raise their own crops more efficiently, to aid

cate their children and to send and train doctors,
nurses and other medical "technicians.
We're collecting the money and sending it .along
to CARE of Canada in Qttawa which operates a
program, to coffer these needs. It has run such pro-

grams for more than 20 years and knows how, to
make every penny count.
Here are a couple of examples: A typical $1 CARE
family food package contains 10 pounds of .f louir, 5
pounds of corn meal, 3 pounds of rolled wheat and
about 8 pounls of cooking oils.
A $2 seed package is designed to grow 1,000
pounds of 14 different vegetables.
