studying patterns, preparing

came to Canada from India in
July of this year. She told of
the differen(customs of her
country and sang a very beauti-
ful love song in her native
language. The speaker was

On Saturday night the locals
played Mount Alberton, neutral
ground at Guelph., This was an
O. A. S. A. game in d best :2 -
out -of 3 series. Each had won
one game. The score of this
game was 3-0 for Mount Albert
who now play Cochrane this -
week -end.

Lloyd G. Simmermaker of
Fordwich was proceeding east
.on Con. 6, Howick, at about
5.45 p. m. when the front left
side of his vehicle was struck
by a car driven by Samuel •
Martin, also of Fordwich.
Martin was travelling°south on
Sideroad 15 when the accident
occurred. There were no in
juries.
Howick. Central School has a very attrac-
tive cheerleading squad which performed
at the Howick Fair. Ilene Versteeg and
Brenda Johnson are the girls in the front.
