should be interesting. All'the
home games will be played in
the town park. The people in
Wingham who haven't seen a

in years, and „like to see the
old team in laction, are invited
to come to the games. They
will be held on Wednesdays.
Coach. Campbell is really
drilling the Mustangs intwold
form and he and M. Fleming
deserve a lot of credit. They
have practices every night af-
ter schoolso why not drop by
to see how a championship
team trains.

On the week -end of Septem-
ber 2i and 22, the Student
Cpuncil sponsored three dele-
gates to attend the di -Rim -Ry-
erson Showcase being presented
at Ryerson Polytechnical
tute iEt Toronto: The three
delegates who. attended were
Doug Elliott, kill Phelan and
Dohria Mundell.
• The show started to roll at -
'about 11 a. M. Saturday. 'The
purpose of "Showcase" was to
helP' organizations such as our
Student Council to hire bands.
Therefore, a two-day program
of Musical entertainment had
been stheduled.

On Thtzsday was the first
meeting of this year's Student
Council. After the roll was
taken and a couple of bills pass.

cussion and the idea seemed

Thompson- who teaches English
to grades 9 and 12. On, bearing

to other people. With this in
mind, she attended public and
