The bride is the datighter of
Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart,
Seaforth. The groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mc-
Dowell, R. R. 1, Belgrave.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor -
length gown of cream pure silk
faille. Lace applique accented
the bodice, sleeves and aisle -
wide cathedral train. Her
shoulder -length illusion Veil was
held by a matching appliqued
headpiece and she carried ;a
bouquet of yellow roses, s ie -
phanotis and trailing ivy.
Miss Linda MacDonald,
Woodstock, as maid of honor
and Miss Janice McDowell, sis-
ter of the groom as bridesmaid,
were gowned alike in mint green
floor -length crepe gowns Nith
empire waistline, matching
lace bodice and sleeves. They
wore matching pill -box hats and
carried bouquets of shasta l dais-
ies.
The groom was .attended by
his brother, John McDowell,
Londonand Bryan Stewart,
brother of the bride, ushered.
Mrs. James A. Stewart, Sea -
forth, aunt of the bride, played
traditional we'dding music and
accompanied the soloist, Miss
Joan Sinclair ,of London' who
sang ".The Wedding Prayer,"
and "I'll Walk Beside You".
At the reception held at the
Little Inn, Bayfield, Mrs. Ste-
wart, the, bride's mother, re-
ceived the guests wearing a pink
silk shantung dress with match-
ing pink organza bodiceand
long sleeves, the edges beaded
to match the dress neckline. A
hat of matching shantung a n d
organza and a corsage of tinted
pink carnations completed her
outfit. She was assisted by the
groom's mother who wore a ,
dress of avocado rfen silk
crepe with itatching,lace diree-
quarter length coat, black ,ac-
cessories and a corsage of yel-
low roses. •
For travelling to Quebec the
bride wore a Iong-sleeved
white cotton A- line lace dress
with black accessories and a
corsage of red carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. McDowell will
reside in Kitchener. The bride
and groom are graduates of
Stratford Teachers' College and
are at present teaching on the
Kitchener and district public
school staff.

BELGRAVE-- A reception was
held in the Belgrave Hall on
Friday evening in honor of Mr.
and Mrs. James Baker ( Ru th
Michie) of London with a good
attendance. Music was supplied
by Tiffin's orchestra.
After lunch Mr. and Mrs.
Baker were called to the p1 a t -
form. Mrs. Clifton' Walsh read
'an addtess and Mts. Kenneth
Wheeler presented them w i th
money and gifts.
Jim and Ruth each made a

by Rev. J. G. Roberts of Bel -
grave at 4 o'clock on Saturday,
August 17, in Wingham United
Church. The bride is the daughs
ter of Mrs. Harvey E. Robb of
Wingham and the late Mr. Robb
and te groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Krueger of Lon-
don.
Miss Carol Robinson of Gor-
rie .sang " The Wedding -Prayer"
before the „service and "0 Prom-
ise Me" during the signing of
the register. She was accom-
panied by Mrs. Carl Douglas of
Belmore.

uncle, Charles Perrott of Guelph,
the bride chose a floor -length
• gown of sheer bemberg silk or-
ganza over a fitted sheath of
silk faille.. The yoke was Swiss
guipure lace with t i ny cap
sleeves and a high turned -down

Kincitdine and Miss Lorna Woods
of London. The attendants were -
similarly attired in soft mint
green chiffon formal -le ng th
gowns featuring the new h i gh
ring collar and fitted ha sq ue
bodice. They were sleeveless
and back interest was centred on
the softly flowing cape- like look
of sheer chiffon. Miss Kathy
Krueger of Ancaster, cousin of
the groom, wis junior brides-
maid. She wore a gown of
• yellow chiffon similar in style
