Seems like a long time since
we have had such severe weath-
er as We endured last-,yeek. The
heat and humidity were ex -
tremely distressing, making
even breathing an effort. , And
were not too popular with the
folks. One barn in oui area,
that of Stan Hays, fell prey to
the lightning, and we all sym-
pathize with him in his loss.
On Sunday the weather had •
changed to the other extretrie,
and ,baie skin was covered with
a neat, even Covering of goose -
sweaters, jackets and whatever
one could find.
