The story goes that the dentist had a stock reply for his victim whenever he hollered that he had pulled the wrong tooth: "Calm your. self friend, I'm coming to it." Changes in 'all branches of industry, in fact, are mov- ing so fast that it is estimated that the average engineer now graduating from school has only half his normal work- ing life ahead of him unless he's prepared to return to school for refresher courses on his specialty. Automobile mechanics, for instance must keep going back to factory schools, just to learn how to use newer scientific tools. That's a very real bonus in efficiency you get when you have your car serviced at a franchised deal- er's garage. ovRather than dishonesty, the greatest single calls* of ercharging in auto repair is hit-and-liss. diagnosis. If a mechanic has to try several alternative:' before locating the problem, the customer Is in fact paying for his education very expensive procedure at today's _ labor rates. The best land most economical service is usually that supplied by a conscientious dealer on the ear he sold to the customer and for obvious reasons knows hest. You'll reap a bonus in •aatigfaction and econoiny to bear future aerviee in Mind when you are shopping for your next ear.
