Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher and Doris are spending ,holidays 'with ,Mr. and Ivies. Bob Dawson and family of O.ampbellford. Rev. and Mrs. Derwyri Hill, David, Gordon, Gregory and Andrew visited un the weekmend with Mr. and Mrs. Les Reynolds and family and attended the Laugside Church Centennial Service where Mr. Hill was .a student preacher for three years. On Monday they called, on -many of the Whitechurch mem- bers. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Caslick and Mrs. Wallace Conn on Wednesday visited with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Scott of Ripley. We are sorry to report Mr. ' James Mcilrath and Mr. Ger- shorn Johnston are patients in Wingham and District Hospital. The community wishes them a speedy recovery. On Thursday Mrs. Clarence Ritie, Barbara and Mary Ann of Con 2, Kinloss and Mrs. Gordon llitthie of Lucknow were visitors with Mr. and Mrs. rom Whitechurch Gershon Johnston, Winghaui. Miss Sharon Rintoui, daughu* ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ri toui has accepted a position with the Un ,versify of Western Ontar. 10, London, and begins work there on Tuesday. Congratulations, to Miss Alma Conn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Conn, who has received word that she has been successful in passing -grade 13 and has won an Ontario scholarship.. Mr. Douglas Coultes of Dresden is spending the week- end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs, Norman Coultes. Mr. and Mrs. Gershoxn Johnston of Wingham on Sat- urday attended the wedding of their granddaughter. Miss Nan. cy Johnston ,and. Ronald Elliott of Barrie.
