Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nickel
`of Woodstock, whose son is a
patient. in Woodstock Hospital.
Our sympathy is' extended to
Mrs. Herb Busby of our village
and Mr. Herb Miller of Lakelet,
on the death of their nephew
_and son, Gordon Miller, last
week near Kitchener. Mr. Mil-
ler 's body was brought to Wrox-
eter on Wednesday for burial in
the cemetery there.
A number Of Belmore people
renewed acquaintances with Mr.
and Mrs. Norman Byers, Ronald
and. Murray, of Mitchell, on
Wednesday afternoon. The
Byers were former residents
here, formerly owning the gen-
eral store nowt owned by the .
Diefenbakers, While here Ron-
ald Byers tried to locate the old
well that he, "in days gone by,
had fallen into. • He also tried
to locate the little stream
where he used to play, but it
has been diverted.
With the end of school close
at hand our students are 'living
it up' with kis tours, class par-
ties; etc. Sure must be nice to
have all summer off; on second
thought, a month' from now, no
doubt many will be complain-
ing, "There's nothing to do!"
