neighbours of John Harrifield
and Walter gathered at their,
home last week for a social
evening. They recently sold
their !arm and will be moving
into the .village, July, 1st.
William Campbell.' a form-

words after which Mrs. Russel
Nickel read the address and
Ivan Campbell presented them
with - matching table lamps.
Walter thanked everyone.

ment for the June meeting.
Everyone Joined in repeating
the Lord's prayer and singing a
hymn., The Scripture lesson
was Mad by Miss Lyle Simmons
and a chapter from the study
book, " Blessings" , was read by
Mrs. W. Hargrave.
The minutes of the last
meeting were read by Mrs. '
Hargrave and the treasurer's
report was givers -by Mrs. Wm.
Sothern. Roll call, An Arti-
cle purchased for 5¢" . was an-
swered by 15 members. Miss
Elva Foster read the correspon-
dence.
Guild members agteed -tb
have a booth at the sale of Mr.
and Mrs. Bruce Armstrong on
Wednesday, June 19, the sale
to start at 1 o'clock. Mrs.
Hargrave and Mrs. Sothern
were elected to purchase dr e-
ery material for curtains in 'the
church basement. It was made
a motion the Guild give a don-
ation of 525.00 to St. Monica
House, Waterloo, and a dona-
tion to the Sunday School.
Mrs. William Sothem des'►
cribed the bus trip to London for
the benefit of members who
were unable tel go. Everyone
agreed it was a very interesting
and enjoyable outing. Thought
is being given to a hobo tea in
the fall.
The president, Mrs. Doug
Bunker, closed the meeting ,
with prayer and Mrs. Peter
Browne tock charge for the pro-
grain. Two very interesting
contests were held and lunch
was served by Miss Ruth Johns.
