Bruce McLennan of Stratford was his brother's best man and ushers were Tom McAfee, brother of the bride and Bruce &lxathers of Bluevale. Mrs. Sydney Smith was the organist. John Halliday of Wingham sang "Wedding Prayer' and "This Is Our -bay" . The bride's mother received guests at the reception in the church parlor. She wore a periwinkle blue two-piece suit with matching accessories and pink corsage. She was assisted by the groom's mother wearing an aqua blue suit dress with matching accessories and pink corsage. Mr. and Mrs. McLennan left on a trip to the Eastern United States. The bride trav- elled in a cancel, hair suit with .matching tam. brown accessory- ies and a corsage of bronze MUMS. • Mr. McLennan is on the Wingham District High School teaching staff and Mrs. McLen- nan is teaching at Hillcrest Public School in Teeswater. They will reside in Wingham. The church was decorated with baskets of red and,•white carnations. The` bride was dressed in a long white satin gown with . a train, trimmed with .white fur. She carried a cascade of white and_ yellow rosebuds, Miss Sandra bollstrurnf friend of the bride, acted as maid of honor. She wore a gown Of red velvet and white satin, with headdress and Mat- ching shoes. Bridesmaids were Karrol Mund and Irene-Mund, - sisters of the bride who wore identical dresses to that of the .maid of honor. All carried white fur muffs decorated with red carnations. • The groom was dressed in the red serge uniform of the .p.C. M.•P. and his brother, Robert Baker of Ottawa, was his best',man. The guests were ushered by Cst. Robert Weir of the R.C. M. P, of Virden, and Mr. John Baker, brother of the groom. The organist played the , traditional wedding march as the bride entered the church with her father. .The soloist sang, " Whither Thou Guest" and "I'll Walk Beside You". ..The reception was held at the Connaught Golf • and Coun- try Club for 70 guests. Curzon tells of trip to Holy Land On Tuesday of last week the Evening Guild of St. Paul's 'Anglican Church met at the home of Mrs. Helen Curzon.
