Mrs. Harry. Day of Penticton,
B.C., visited last week with
her cousin, Mrs. Q.G. Ander-
son of Belgrave and other rela-
tives in this district.
Mrs.,Charles Austay and
Mrs. Sorto `Healy Of Goderich,
and Mrs, Earl Caldwell of
Blyth visited their aunt, Mrs.
Stanley Cook, on Tuesday.
Recent visitors with Mr. and
Mrs, Harry McGuire were Mr.
and Mrs. Nelson McGuire of
Holstein and Mr. and Mrs.
Russell Walker of Goderich.
Mr. and MrS. Clarence Mar-
tin of Walton spent Sunday with
Mrs. George Magtin.
Mrs., Ross Anderson and Mrs.
Williar-Coultes attended the
Presbyterial 'meeting which was
held in the Northside United
Church, Seaforth, last Wednes-
day.
All Institute members and
friends gre invited to attend the
needlecraft course which is to
be in the Belgrave community
rooms on February 27 and 28,
from 10 a.m. to 4 p. m ."

John G. ' t;berts and Mr. and
Mrs. George Procter, went on
a bus trip to Toronto on Satur-
day. They visited the city
hall, museum; and attended
the' Ice Follies in the Maple
Leaf Gardens.
On the same bus were Mr.
and Mrs. Leslie Bolt, Calvin
Nixon, Raymond Nicholson,
Mrs. James Walsh, Mrs. George
Martin, and Mr. and Mrs.
Lewis Stonehouse who toured
with the Hi -C.
Nethery of Edmonton. Alberta
were home to visit with their
mother, Mrs. Chris Nethery,
who is a patient in Wingham
and District Hospital. They al-
so spent a few days with Mr.
and Mrs. William Black and
Mr. and Mrs. William Nethery.
Friends of Mr. George Cook
are pleased to hear he is'ini-
proving after suffering from a
heart attack.

euchre was held last Wednesday
night In the community rooms
with 10 .tables in play, High
lady was Mrs.Robert Higgins;
high man, Rayn and Van Camp;
low lady, Mrs. James R, Coul-
tes; 'low man. Frank McCor-
mick, The novelty prize was
second high with Mrs. Gordon
Higgins and Gershom Johnston
as winners. 7.
4-H club meeting
The meeting of the Berra ve
three 4-H Club was held at
Mrs. Hanna's on Monday even-
ing. The following officers
were elected: president, Gail
Mayberry;.. secretary, each in
turn; press reporter, Christine
Hartleib. Mrs. Hanna discus-
sed tie subject of `hospitality in
the home. The meeting ended
with the 4-11 Pledge and Motto.
