The Thursday night

was a different story
altogether, as the visiting
Buckeyes skated to an
easy 4-2 win over the
hapless, cellar -dwelling
Mohawks. Zurich built up
a 4-0 lead which they held
until the closing minutes
of the contest, when tired
legs created a,°defensive
lapse allowing, Exeter
two mercy goals.
The Buckeye
marksmen were John
Graham, Jeff. O'Brien;'

played his first game of

The referee called 26
minor penalties with
Zurich picking up the
lion's share with 14, while
•Centralia were assessed
the even dozen.
Sunday afternoon, the
Buckeyes had 15 players
dressed for a home stand
against .Hensall, but
found themselves in
trouble as the Sherwoods
opened up an early three
goal lead, However, the
Bucks turned on the jets
in the third and came
back for. a 5-4 win.
In the first period, it
was all Hensall as Jamie
Caldwell scored on a
scramble __ with . Rack

Ferguson `counting
assists. Al Taylor also
scored for the visitors on
a deflection off "a Zurich
defender's leg. Dave
Kinsman and Gary Kyle
were granted assists.
The second period saw
Hensall draw first blood
again as Lloyd Allen
scored a powerplay goal
from Gary Keohler.
Zurich got on the board as
speedy Jim Murray
picked up an errant pass
and cruised in on a
breakaway and jammed
the puck under Hensall
goalkeeper, Steve
Sararas. Dave Kinsman
