Brownies
On November 11 we
had no regular meeting
due to Remembrance
Day so we joined the rest
of the Guiding and
Scouting movements to
march. in the Retnem-
' brance Day parade.
There was a service
held at the Legion Hall,
then the march to the
cenotaph for the wreath
laying ceremony. Then
we marched. baCk to the
Legion Hall where we had
hot elioeoiate and
cookies.
On November 18 we
had our regular meeting
at the Legion Hall. We
spent most of the meeting
reviewing our opening
songs and six -songs.
We also. sang Christ-
mas carols.AtTow Wow
we handedoutotir—SIERT-- —
Friend names and talked
about going out singing
carols.
On November 25 we
started our meeting by
singing Christmas carols.
Then we had our opening
and the girls working on
their Golden Bar sang 0
Canada. We played a
relay -learning game
called "Tie Your Tie". At
pow wow we talked about
the Santa Claus parade
and asked the girls for
ideas for decorating the
Brownie float. We will be
putting our ideas together
with the ideas from the
2nd Brownie Pack.
On December 2 only
nine girls could make it
out for our meeting due to
the . first major snow
storm. We had one
Tweenie, Jennifer.
enrolled by
Brown Owl and Tawny
Owl. We made
decorations for the tree
on the Brownie float and
sang a few carols.
On December 6 both 1st
and 2nd Brownie Packs
joined togather for the
float in the Santa Claus
parade.
We had a great time
and we would like to
express our thanks again
to Ken Rogerson for the
use of his wagon for our
float and to Bill Crawford
for his• help and to the
many others who helped
with our float.
Upcoming news:
On December 17 we will
be having our Brownie
meeting at, the Wesley -
Willis Church as the
Legion Hall is not
available. The meeting
will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
and will be our last
meeting . _for_ MO. Our
first meeting of the New
Year will be on January
6.
On December 19 we will
be joining in with the rest
of the Guiding and
Scouting movements to
go out carolling through
the main street of Clin-
ton. We will be meeting at
the Wesley -Willis Church
at 7( p.m.

Christmas and a Happy

congregation.

the weekend with his
mother, Mrs. A. Ham and
Miis M. Swan.
Visitors last week with
Mr. and Mrs. D. Treibner
were Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Waters of
Franklin, North Carolina
and Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Ayer and son of Rich-
mond, Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. David
Weigell of Cleveland,
Ohio spent the weekend
with her parents Mr. and
Mrs. John Elroadfoot.
Mr. Seldon Ross is a
patient in Clinton Public
Hospital.
