Don't forget the big
meeting coming upOn
Monday night. This
meeting is not only the
general meeting, but the
big awards night and an
initiation as well. in fact,
it's so big it's going to
turn into a patty and the
ladies are invited as well.
Hip of beef on a bun will
be served .so come on out
and enjoy yourself.
And speaking of
memberships, etc„ have
you paid your clues?
There's only about two
weeks to get that money
in and qualify for an early
bird. Apparently, the
dues are coming in very
well, but we'd really like
to hang one of those 75
percent certificates on

stOrMy weather we were
having and it looked like
we were gOing to have to
cancel early in the
evening. Marsh was
even talking about
playing, but not counting
the night. However, as it
turned out,, we had '14
tables show up. Don
Howes is glad the night
went as usual, well,
almost. Don, it seems,
played his usual game
and came up with a
PerfOct night. It's been a
' long time since a big 90,
has been turned in, and
it'll probably he a long
time before we see
Congratulations Don and
keep it up. A few of those
and you'll be a shoo-infor
first place tor the year.
I've been asked to
remind everyone about
the tickets, on sale at the
-bar. New Year's Eve is
corning up fast and the
tickets are going out
fairly quickly. If you are
planning to attend, it
would be a good idea to
get your ticket now.
Christmas draw tickets
are moving well and are
available at the bar.
In mixed darts last
Thursday, Rosemary
Armstrong and Terry
Hollinshead won the high
coupe. Joyee Scott
scored 1.33 ,to win high
ladies `sand Weil. Elliott
took high man with a
score of 122. The,low
couple were Madelan,
Yeats and Brian_
Atkinson.
