belonged to the Bucks as

pass from John Graham
to open the gates. Pat
Bedard then completed a
three way passing play
from Graham and
Schilbe for a powerplay
goal. Graham took a pass
from Schilbe and blasted
a slapshot that hand-
cuffed the goaltender. On
an end to end rush, Dino
Desjardine took passes
from Randy McKinnon
and Graham to make the
score 5-1.
Schilbe then took,a pass
from Gerald Weido, split
rattled a breakaway shot
off the post and ' the
Sherwoods skated back
up ice and scored.
In the final period,
Randy McKinnon scored
from Desjardines and
Kerry Bedard on a three
way play, and Kerry
Bedard rounded out the
scoring with a shor-
thanded tally after taking
a pass !rom Randy
McKinnon and deking the
goaltender.

In the final game of the
weekend on Sunday,
Zurich captured the
championship by blasting
the Mitchell Red Devils 7-
3. Paul McClure opened

Graham took control of
the puck in the Mitchell
zone and fed a pass to
Richard Schilbe who
fired it past Red Devil
goaltender Lou Arts from
the slot area to tie the
game. Bill Avery scored
again for Mitchell with,

contest as he completed a

The Bucks were dealt
five penalties, while
Mitchell received seven.

Oldtirners
bounce back
It was not one of the
more epic games in the
battle for the Loogan's
Cup, but the Oldtimers
bounced back to tie the
Rink Mice at 8-8 in
Saturday night's action
packed game. Nine
screaming fans were on
hand to watch Stormin'
Norman score six goals
and Romping Rhea add
two goals for the Mice
who built up an 8-0 lead.
The Oldtimers, Ied by
Voluptuous Val (with
seven goals) came back
to within one goal. With
only seconds left to play
Larouche picked up 'the
puck in his own end and
skated the length of the
ice drilling a blistering
drive past Tiny Tim to tie
the game for the Old-
timers.
The Oldtimers still
need some players of
mediocre or poor quality
as they had to play the
'entire game a man short.
Previous knowledge of
how to play hockey is not
necessary. Be at the
arena at 9:45 and be
ready to play at 10 p.m.
