Council . passed a motion stating that if OTEVA was not willing to co-operate in : providing drainage by meats of a municipal drain, then the township would not construct .the drainoh its own, obtain an easement across the neighbouring property or maintain the drain thereafter as a tax burden atuinSt the entire municipality. (Canadian Forces Photo) Hohnesville news Seniors to help with hall By Blanche'Deeves Goderich Township WI The monthly meeting of the Goderich Township Women's Institute (WI) was held on November 10 when it was decided that the group would take a bus trip on December 3 to the Erland Lee Home in Stoney Creek. The home, where the WI was first formed, will be decorated for Christmas, 1800's style. The cost to go on the trip is $9 each and everydne is asked to ing their lunch. On the way home, the group will stop for supper. The bus will leave from Goderich and Clinton and for more information you can call 524-7436. Everyone is welcome to attend. The WI held their first successful euchre party with seven ,tables taking part- The winners .in- cluded: ladies' high, Pearl tammings; ladies' low, Isobel Harris ; lone hands, Betty Thompson; men's high, Frank Thompson; men's low, Bill McIlwain. Lunch was served by the WI group and the next ca.rd party in scheduled for Novernber 27 at the Holmesville School.
