Vivienne showed slides of her family's eight-week trip to the north and ex- plained many interesting facts about the country and the wildlife. . International correspondence con- tained more information on the 50th Anniversary Cookbooks published by Beta Sigma, Phi and an invitation "was received from an Exeter Chapter to attend. Founders Day With them in April 1981. This will be discussed again ata later meeting: The treasurer's report was given and vice- president Ann Adams reported that she had contacted the Ritual Chapter about the area council meeting on November 24. Audrey Kemp's social committee told of plans for a family Christmas party in December and discussed the possible dates. The possibility of entering a float in the Clinton Santa Claus parade was also men- tioned and more details will be available at a later date. Ways & Means outlined more details of the bake sale and used book sale on November 29 at the Town Hall. Ticket money for the draw to be held at the Bake Sale was collected and Marj reported that the ceramic Christmas tree which is one of the prizes in the draw,- is on_ display _ at. John Duddy Real Estate office downtown. Vivienne Roy reported for service that final details for the CHSS scholarship are being made and Marguerite Falconer from the Ritual Chapter is looking into plans . for the children's corner at the hospital waiting room. In keeping with the program for the evening, Vivienne served Baked Alaska for lunch. ,,The October 28 meeting was held at the home of Marj Dobson and featured ceramics by Ann and Mari, concluded by the girls painting their ceramic pieces. After a final firing, they were given to the girls at the next meeting. Social chairman, Audrey Kemp finalized plans for our shopping trip to Toronto on November 8, while ways and means chairman, Marj handed out the Regal orders and collected Zehrs taps and ticket money. V "ienne reported for service on the scholarship for CHSS and further details are to be discussed. Service also received thank you notes from the Kinettes for help at the Blood Donor Clinic and from the Clinton hospital for the donation from the Sorority Chapters. Legacy daughter memberships were collected and members thanked their Secret Sisters for cards and gifts. Following the closing ritual members dressed in Hallowe'en costumes for a Hallowe'en social and were surprised by the unexpected arrival of the Ritual Chapter who were also in costume.
