Church WMS was held on. Monday with the president. Mrs, Harvey Hyde in charge,. Mrs, Esther Wright was in charge of the Devotional and her Theme was rRemembrance of Various Things. --Margaret Hoggarth also gave a reading. The visiting committee of Kathy Bell and Winnie Skea reported their visits for October and Esther Wright and Eleanor Thompson will visit for ti'io'ntli o' '-N5v ni-iier. Special thanks was ex- tended to all the ladies who helped to make the Women's Day successful. Mrs. Hyde presented Esther Wright with a Life Membership to the WMS. The annual Presbyterial will be held on January 21 at , Seaforth. Gloria Mousseau and Kathy Bell were apporinted nominating committee to bring in the new slate of officers for WMS and Ladies' Aid. The Young People's Group will meet November 12 at 7 p.m. in' the Sunday School rooms. Mrs. Hoggarth presided for the meeting of the Ladies' Aid which followed and g. tea reading. Arrangements were made for flowers for the church and the treasurer Mrs. Hyde reported a most gratifying report from the bazaar and bake sale. The December meeting on December .1 will be a pot luck dinner at 12:30 p.m. , followed by the Christmas Meeting. Please keep this date in mind. Plan Christmas Party Noble Grand Mrs. Bertha MacGregor conducted the meeting of Amber Rebekah Lodge on Wednesday evening assisted by, the Vice Grand Mrs. Gladys Coleman. Mrs. Hazel Corbett reported for the finance committee and Mrs. Gladys Coleman reported for the cards sent and the visiting members. Thank you notes were received from Mrs. Elizabeth Riley and Mrs. Pearl Eyre. It was decided to hold the Christmas Party on December 3 and to ex- change the gifts with the secret pals. The meeting for the •United Nations Committees will be held, in Clinton Lodge at 8 .m. P '� on November 12. The nextr • regular meeting will be head on November 19. Chlselhurst UCW On November 4 Chiselhurst' UM held their monthly meeting with the president Mrs. Jack Brintnell in charge. Mrs. Jack Upshall conducted the Remembrance Worship service and Mrs. Beatrice Munn, Mrs. Fredo . Boa, Mrs. Ted Roberts and Mrs. Dorothy Brintnell assisted Mrs. Upshall. The roll call was an- swered by 14 member -s and one visitor repeating the 10 Commandments. The treasurer reported a very successful bazaar and three members at- tended a workshop at Greenway and enjoyed a most informative af- ternoon. Mary McKinnon At her residence on November 5 Mrs. Mary Stella (Callaghan) McKinnon of Zurich died in her 80th year. She was the wife of the late James C. McKinnon and is the mother of Charles of Jordan Station, Raymond of Zurich, Mrs. John (Patricia) Jarbeau of Amherstview, Mrs. Edgar (Edith) Plourde of Kapuskasing and Elaine of Zurich. Mrs. McKinnon was a sister of Martin Callaghan of Sudbury, Joseph Callaghan of Val D'Or, Quebec and sister to Mary Camillus of the Religious Order of Grey Sisters in Penetang. She Dogan.
