Squares tco bake
RAINBOW SQUARES
1 cup peanut butter
1 pkg, butterscotch chipits (12 oz.)
Melt these two ingredients together in top of'a
double boiler.
Important: Cool for 5 minutes J
Stir in 2 cups coloured mini -marshmallows.
Pour into 8" x 8" pan and refrigerate. Cut into
squares of desired size.
These squares freeze well and are pretty on a
p• a ,s fancy mixed cookies and squares. Can be

QUICK AND EASY SQUARES
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup corn syrup
Bring just to a boil.
Remove from heat. Add 1 cup peanut butter
and stir until dissolved.
Add 4 cups Corn Flakes and 2 cups Rice
Krispies
Press into an 8" x 8" pan and chill in *fridge.
Cut into squares as desired.

CHOCOLATE SQUARES
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
% cup walnuts
2 cups graham wafer crumbs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Mix first four ingredients and bring to boil.
Take from heat and add remaining ingredients.
Stir and press into 8" x 8" pan. Frost with butter
icing.

ALMOND SQUARES
3`cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 pound margarine
1/2 tsp. almond flavor
2 cups sugar
3 egg yolks

3 egg-whites - don't beat stiff
2 tbsp. brown sugar
• 1/2tsp. almond flavor
Spread over top and bake at 350 degrees for 20
minutes.

HOE DOWN SQUARES
2 c. biscuit mix
213c. milk
1 tsp. sesame seeds
1/4 c. chilli sauce
1 small jar of cheddar cheese spread (sharp)
Stuffed olives in'slices
1 tsp. minced onion
2- 41/2 oz. cans of deviled ham.
Combine biscuit mix and milk with fork and
spread into greased 9" square pan. Sprinkle with
sesame seed and minced onion.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove
from pan and while hot split in half and spread on
one half the chilli sauce and deviled ham, then
with cheese and olive slices. Put into squares and
layer two kinds together with party, picks.

LUNCHBOX SQUARES
Heat in double boiler :
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 cup lye arn*tutter-(crunch y i--
When smooth and melted, mix in 2 cups rice
krispies and 2 cups corn flakes or 4 cups any left-
over cereal. Press into a greased 8 inch x 8 inch
pan.
