SPICY MEATBALLS
1 beaten egg
1- 6 QZ. can, evaporated milk
11/ cups soft bread crumbs (2 slices)
% cup chopped onion
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Dash of pepper
11/2 Ib. hamburg
Combine and form into meatballs. Bake at 375
degrees 25 to 30 minutes. (freeze if desired)
Gravy
2 -103/ oz. cans of beef gravy
1/4 cup brown .ugar
2-tbsp: w'
1 tsp. groun• ginger
Combin : ingredients and bring to boil. Add
meatball (frozen or otherwise). Cover and cook
on low eat 15 minutes. May be served on hot
rice.
Meatballs
2 lbs. ground chuck (hamburg)
1 cup ground corn flakes
1 medium onion - chopped
1 beaten egg
1% tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 cup apple sauce
1/ tsp. pepper
Mix and form into balls, put in casserole. Pour
one can of tomato soup over the meatballs and
bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

ZIPPY MEATBALLS
2 tbsp. margarine
1/2 cup each chopped onions, green peppers,
celery and 1 can 51/2 oz. tomato paste
1 tbsp. flour
1 can beef consomme. 11/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. pepper
Cook onion, green pepper and celery in
margarine until tender. Add 1/2.can tomato paste,
flour, consomme, salt, oregano, bring to boil
until smooth. Simmer.. Mix beef with remaining
ingredients and form into small balls. Add un-
cooked meatballsto hot sauce. Cover and sim-
mer 1/2 hour until tender. Serve over spaghetti,
rice, noodles:

' PEPPY BURGERS
1 lb. lean pork
1 lb. lean beef 4 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. HP or A-1 sauce
3 tsp. Worcestershire 2 to 4 tsp. sugar
4 tbsp. tomato juice Dash of cayenne pepper
1 tsp. garlic 2 tbsp. onion flakes
Mix ingredients thoroughly. Make into
hamburger patties and barbecue or cook in
skillet. Serve on a hamburger bun.

1 lb. ground beef
2tbsp, anion, finely chopped
1/2 cup bread crumbs, fine
1 tbsp, snipped parsley
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

two-thirds cup milk
2 tbsp. salad oil
1/8 tsp. curry powder or 1/4 tsp. powdered ginger
1 can (15 ozneapple tidbits
1 cup Sweet and Sour Sauce (see below)
Thoroughly corribipe meat, onion, crumbs,
parsley, garlic salt, pepper, egg and milk. Cover
and chill 1 hour. .
Shape meat into small balls and brown in salad
oil. Add curry powder. Drain pineapple saving
liquid for the sweet-sour sauce and setting aside
tidbits.
Prepare the sauce and add meat balls and
pineapple. Heat very thoroughly. Serves 4 or 8 to
10 if of cocktail size.
SWEET AND SOUR
SAUCE
Combine in a saucepan:
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 cup vinear
1 tb4p. cornstarch
3/4 cup pineapple syrup
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Stir while bringing to a boil.
Makes 1 cup.

SWEET AND SOUR -SAUCE
1 cup cold water
1/4 cup white vinegar ,
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
Boil together for 2 minutes stirring constantly.
Thicken ' with 1 tablespoon of flour and 2
tablespoons of water.
Pour over meat (excellent for spare ribs) and
bake.

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp. crushed garlic .
1/ tsp. crushed hot pepper
1 tsp. coriander or parsley
1/4 tsp. allspice
3-4 slices bread (soaked)
Salt
Oil for frying
Mix all ingredients together. Shape into balls.
Deep fry using medium heat.
