The tree contest was won by Verna Lobb and Margaret Farquhar and six members honed their skill at art by drawing a rider on a broncho with a pail of oats and a tree under a full moon. This had to be accomplished in the dark and the con- testants were Marty Lobb, Jean Ginn, Irene Cudmore, Barb Bettles, Gail Wilson and Phyllis Cox. The judges had a very difficult timne trying to decide the north end of the horses and also the positions of the riders. The final results ended in a draw. To conclude the evening, Jean Ginn spoke on her trip to Australia and New Zealand by the articles she purchased' there.
