Latimer, made their
yearly pilgrimage to the
Silverdome in Pontiac,
Michigan, to watch the
Detroit Lions squeak out
a hard fought- victory
over the St. Louis Car-
dinals, -in NFL Football
play. They all enjoyed
this year's trip more than
usual, since it is the first
time the Lions won while
they were present.
Keep in mind, "The
Pack... is Back!"

England, interspersed
with family shots taken a
"few" years before.

But this was a birthday
with a difference.
Together with about a
dozen of the residents,
Mrs. Brunsdon welcomed
her daughter, Mrs.
Charles Holdway, who
had travelled 2,000 miles
for the occasion - all the
way from Dallas, Texas!
The beautiful- cake,
specially made in Dallas,
had survived the 1 ng

least of which were the
trays of shortbread and
other tempting squares.
The beautiful cake was
cut and sampled ap-
preciatively by all those
present since it not only
looked good, but tasted •
even better! Nor will the
occasion remain just a
memory because Mrs. J.
Ball was on hand with a
camera to take a picture
of Mrs. Brunsdon cutting
her very special cake.
