They also came up on the short end of the . soore in Lon- desboro last Thursday night. Coaches Keith Allen and John Radford and the boys deserve credit for, a good season and will no doubt produce another winning team next year. Last Friday, ,the Moms and Dads held their final night of the season as the team picked by Dorothy Airdrie edged Art Airdrie and team mates. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thompson, ` Leisa and Cheryl moved into their new house over the Labour Day weekend. We welcome to the village Mr. and Mrs. John Polland and family to the village from Stratford. Sharon Thompson has returned for her second year at Humber College in Toronto. John Scott has returned to Guelph for another year at the University of Guelph and Brian Nesbitt is attending Western University in London. Doris McClure is attending Agriculture College , Centralia. We wish them much success in their year of studies. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stevenson, David, Darren and Luanne spent Labe Christian school opens in Lucknow Christian Island.. Mrs. Don Buchanan has been able to return home from University Hospital in London. We hope she continues to feel better. Approximately 200 parents, children, board members, friends.of Christian education nd community members attended the opening. Guest speaker was Adrian Guldemonde, director of the Alliance of Christian . Schools, who discussed the • relation- ships and concerns when a school of reformed character is established in the community. Mr. Guldemonde said that because the Christian community has decided to establish a private school, they are open . to suspicion in the larger community. Mrs. Ricer was in charge of the business and the roll call and last meeting minutes were presented.
