Finishing second was Buffy's half-brother Harlo Champ, an eight- year-old gelding by Timely Topic -Lynn Dale, with owner Jim Watt of Blyth up. John Muir was second with Swinging Beauty for Bruce Dupee in the seventh, while Randy Henry also finished in the same position driving Miss Krista Hal for Charles - Brindley of Goderich in the tenth. There will be racing action at Clinton every Sunday afternoon until September 28. Post time is 1:30 p.m. with three qualifying races starting one hour earlier at 12:30 Bill Rapson of Holmesville is training an extremely good looking three-year-old gelding for owner Bill King of Bluevale at Elmira Raceway. Prince Bye Bye, by Dexter Hanover - Debbie 'Bye Bye, von his first lifetime start with a mile in -p,2:07.3 on August 4. Racing again one week later on August 11, driver Bill Rapson • lowered Prince Bye Bye's record to p,2:07 for his second straight win. Sunday Chimes, Mac Sewer's good seven-year old trotting ' mare, finished third in a 2:03.3 mile at Greenwood Raceway in Toronto on August 7, going for a purse of $4,400. Last Friday, the Colts. took the first game of the series as they thumped the Angels 8-4 as Mark Nichelson pitched- eight innings before leaving due to fatigue. He left with an 8-1 lead. The Colts jumped to a 3- 0 lead in the first inning as Dan Colquhoun hit a three run shot to left field. .The Angels carne back with one in the second, but Clinton never looked back. Colquhoun led the Colts aJt-t k—with lou Flits while Greg Burns, Butch' Fleet, Ron Sowerby, Don MacDonald and Don Bartliff added singles. The Angels gained revenge on Sunday as sloppy fielding on the part of the Colts and some bad base running led to Clinton's defeat.
