Bluevale
builds
new hall
WINGHAM - The
Bluevale Chamber of
Commerce has decided
that construction of a new
community hall may be
less _ .expensive... than.
renovating the existing
hall.
Estimated cost of
renovations has in-
creased from $50,000 to
near $70,000 'and the
group feels that it may be
more feasible to build a
new'hall.
If the Chamber of
Commerce decided to
build a new town --hall, it
could choose one of three,
types - frame, block or
steel. yA frame building of
similar size to the
existing hall has been
estimated at $50,000.
Art Clark from.
Maitland Engineering
was asked to conduct a
walk -around inspection of
the hall to determine its
structural soundness
before a decision was
made.
