Four patients from second floor at the Clinton
Public Hospital enjoyed a. ride to Bayfield last
Thursday afternoon, courtesy of Huronview whose
van was used. The patents were accompanied by a
volunteer from the Hospital Auxiliary..

TAKE NOTICE that fhe Council of the Town of Clinton has passed
By -taw No. 7 for 1980 on tke"`'5-th4dayr :o, May; 1980, pursuant to the
provisions of section 35 of The Planning Act.
The following Schedules are attached hereto:
1. Schedule 1, being a copy of By-law No. 7 for 1980. -
2. Schedule 2, consisting of the following:
i. An explanation of the purpose' and effect of the By-
law.
ii. A key map which shows the location of the lands to
which the By-law applies.
ANY PERSON INTERESTED MAY, within twenty-one days after the
date of the publication of this notice, file with the Clerk of the Town
of Clinton, notice of an objection to the approval of the said By-law
or part thereof together With details of all or that portion of the
By-law to which there is objection and detailed reasons thereof.
ANY PERSON wishing to support the application for' approval of
the By-law may, within twenty-one days after the date of the
publication of this notice, file with the Clerk of the Town of Clinton
notice of support of the application for approval of the said By-law.
If no notice of objection has been filed
with the Clerk of the municipality within
the time provided, the By-law thereupon
,comes into effect and does not require the
approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.

BRIEF EXPLANATION OF AMENDMENT TO ZONE 6
Zone 6 is a zoning designation for those areas usually found
along the principal streets entering a municipality and
frequently referred to as "Highway Commercial".
At present the permitted uses in Zone 6 include:
Service stintions; amusement enterprises; restaurants;
motel or hotels; banks and professional offii:es; tourist ac-
commodation; antique shops; fruit, vegetable, flower or nur-
sery stock outlets; sale of poultry or farm produce; craft
shops and sales; veterinarian; new and used autcuti bile sales
and service; clubs and lodges; accessory uses. .
The purpose of this amendment will clarify the zoning By-
law to also permit the establishment of a Drive -In Restaurant
or a Retail Food Outlet within Zone 6, providing all of the
other requirements of Zone6are met. -

A BY-LAW to further amend By-law No. 15 z3
for 1970 being a Restricted Area (Zoning) By-
law for the Town of Clinton: -
WHEREAS the Council•of the Corporation of
the Town of Clinton deems it desirable to fur-
ther amend saiday-law No. 15 for 1970:
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Cor-
poration of the Town of Clinton ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1 THAT the said By-law Number 15-70 be and
the some is hereby amended by adding to
Section 15 of the said by-law, and following'
paragraph 15.1.18, the followings:
15.1.18.1 Retail Food Outlet
2. THAT the said By-law Number 15-70 be and)
the same Is hereby further amended by`
repealing paragraph 15.1.13 of Section 15 -
Zone 6 and •substituting the following)
therefore:
15.1.13 Restaurant or Drive-in Restaurant)
(including soda fountain, snack bar, lunchi
counter or similar use).
3. THIS By=isw shall come into effect on the
final passing thereof by the Council of the
Cdrparation of the Town of Clinton subject
to compliance with the provisions of The
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970 and amendments
thereto.
