Two big days of bargains and any events downtown. Most Clinton Merchants will be keeping their doors open from 9 a.m. to 12 midnight, with tremendous sales and bar gains galore. Come to Clinton - take in the sales and all . the special events - this Thursday and Friday at Clinton's Third Annual Moonlight Madness. Cash prizes will be given to the best decorated bikes and trikes. Bed ;RCii1g Championships on for Friday Night Clinton's big "Moonlight Madness" sale continues all day Friday, July 11. Bargain hunters will be able to shop in most Clinton stores 'til -12 midnight. Moonlight Madness activities start at 7:00 p.m., with Children's Teddy Bear Shirttail Parade, up and down main street. Pre-school and public - school aged children, dressed in their MOW pyjamas will parade up and down main street, accompanied by special music. The children will meet and start from the Tot beside Ball and Mutch, on Albert Street. Cash prizes will be given to the best -dressed children. To take part, just fill inthe entry form, found on the .back page, and take it with you to the parade site. Then, the Clinton Legion Pipe Band will entertain you downtown, starting at 8:00 p.m. At 8:30, make sure you get a good spot to watch the Clinton Bed Racing Championships. Teams will battle for . the honor of being Bed Race cham- pions, on King Street in Clinton, right by the post office. At 9.00 p.m., the Clinton Lion's Outdoor Bingo starts.
