Twister hits Bluevale area BRUSSELS - Residents of Bluevale were busy cleaning up on June 30 _after a small twister swept through the area, uprooting` retrees, tearing down hydro lines and even taking some tin off the roof of one barn. - ' - Metal sheeting was ripped of the roof of a barn owned by Gord Ruff who lives on a farm just outside of Bluevale. Only part of the roof• came off • and large hunks of sheeting were scattered throughout a nearby field. Harris Campbell of Bluevale was . another who suffered some of the more extensive damages of the storm when the wind moved his trailer 30 - feet back in his driveway and flipped it over onto its side. Lady tractor puller LUCKNOW - Canada has two lady tractor pullers and one is from Lucknow. Barb Helm is driving her husband's V-12 Packard in -the 7,000 pound modified class this year. Barb has watched from the sidelines for the past three years, but now she will be meeting up with Mary Verheyen of Kerwood, Canada's only other lady driver,. in Lucknow's annual Tractor Pull on July 19 and 20.
