Mrs. Lorne Schneider
of Stratford was hostess
for a misrcellaneous
shower in honor of her
niece Beatrice Thomp-
son, who was married on
July�5.
Around 25 relatives
attended the shower and
the guest of honor sat ina
decorated chair . while
Gail, :Schneider, read a
special address.
After opening all her

everyone and a lunch was

21. _Mrs. Lorne Fleming,
an aunt of the groom, Ron
Fleming, hosted the
miscellaneous shower at4
her home. Beatrice in-

trousseau tea which was
given by her mother on
June 28.
On June 23, the Carmel
Presbyterian Church
choir held a card party at
the home ofMrs. Dorothy
Taylor with 30 people
present. to honor Beatrice
and another bride-to-be,
Sylvia Bell, whose
weddings took place the
same day, Both girls
were presented with a
lovely three -tiered -cake
stand.
The community joined
together to hold another
miscellaneous shower for
Beatrice on June 26. It
was hosted by Myra
Lovell, Carol Cool3er, Ann
