The only transportation
in and out of Ogoki is by
plane, or' by boat in the
summer. Since it takes
three days by boat to
Hearst and two hours by
plane (costing over $200)
people in Ogoki do not
often leave the set-
tlement.
The Sarah Hale
Chapter attempts to aid
the people in Ogoki by
supplying clothing,
blankets, or any other
need that Annie mentions
in her letters. A large
bale was sent in May, and
the Chapter is collecting
items for the bale to be
sent in the fall.
The regent, `Florence
Corrie, announced that
the fall conference will be
held in Peterborough.
