Staff gets caught up
By Rene Brochu
It was a quiet week by
the normal, standards at
our branch, but it was an
opportunity for the staff
to get caught up on the
work load, and a wee rest
bit from the busy
'schedule.
Our bingo of course was
again a successful
venture as Eric Switzer
and his team took care of
the bingo chores. It was
Freda Smith from Clinton
who came up with a
winning card for the $200
jackpot' prize. A happy
lady no doubt! -

evening for our branch
with many members and
guests dropping in for
refreshments and a bowl
of chili. The grapevine •
has it that we can -look
forward to `• another
special pub -night
sometirriia in July. Be it
also noted that we will
have a special group of
guests coming in to visit
in our Ladies Lounge this
coming Friday with a bit
of entertainment to boot.
Since our Saturday
evening was clear of
activities, we ' were
pleased to loan our
auditorium tables and
chairs to the Kinsmen

their guests at the annual

understand that it was a
tremendous success,

the year, and members of
the retiring officers and
executive were also in-

of confidence is in the air
as new faces and new
ideas emerge, and so, we
look • forward to yet
another.. successful year
for our branch.
